WWA JV Regionals — January 9, 2027 | WWA JV State Finals — January 23, 2027
The Wisconsin Wrestling Association JV State Series continues to grow and evolve, with the goal of providing positive value for all wrestling programs across Wisconsin. The 2027 WWA JV Region Tournaments will be held at 12 sites on Saturday, January 9th, 2027, with the top three finishers in each weight class advancing to the WWA JV State Championships at Wausau West High School on Saturday, January 23rd, 2027.
The top three finishers in each weight class at each of the 12 region tournaments will advance to the WWA JV State Championships. In total, 36 wrestlers per weight class are eligible to advance to the state tournament.
The WWA JV State Championships will be held at Wausau West High School on Saturday, January 23rd, 2027. Additional wrestlers will only be added to a weight class bracket if the total number of participants in that weight class at the State Finals falls below 24.

Note: The number of schools assigned to each region does not reflect actual participation. Some assigned schools do not participate each year, so total participation at each region site will vary. The WWA JV State Series Committee tracks overall participation and makes regional adjustments each year to best balance geography and participation levels across all 12 regions.
