Coach/Program Development
The WWA will create an online resource library featuring a comprehensive collection of coaching tutorials. A coaching education and certification pathway, including three levels of assessment, will be developed and launched. It is our plan to conduct at least five additional wrestling clinics, focusing on coaching, technique, sports science, and leadership. Partnerships will be formalized with a minimum of five wrestling clubs to support the association’s initiatives and advance wrestling development in Wisconsin. Furthermore, we will assist in establishing new women’s and middle school wrestling programs in various schools, alongside creating a template for developing programs. |

A 15% increase in boys’ and girls’ participation across all age groups, compared to the 2022-23 season, will be achieved. Social media engagement will see a 50% rise, and website traffic a 30% increase. Additionally, the we will plan and execute two new promotional events, attracting a combined 500 attendees, and achieve a 25% increase in girls’ participation. Engagement & Sustainability
The WWA will ensure that 80% of all schools in Wisconsin have at least one current annual member and at least 80% of members will be actively engaged in the benefits of their membership, including nominating coaches/athletes for awards, participating in voting, attending clinics or banquets, and utilizing services like the Nicolas Suite. By the fall clinic of 2026, three new recognition initiatives will be established to celebrate the contributions of coaches, athletes, and other individuals to wrestling in Wisconsin. Additionally, a new platform will be introduced to allow coaches to share feedback and offer suggestions on association initiatives and policies. |

Governance & Sustainability
The WWA will reduce decision-making time and decrease administrative steps to become more efficient. At least three strategic initiatives will be implemented to positively impact the growth and visibility of wrestling in Wisconsin. Member satisfaction with the association's responsiveness will increase and the organization will have updated bylaws that promote efficient governance and align with the evolving needs of wrestling coaching. Over the next five years, the association will secure a $10,000 sponsor annually and an additional $1,000 sponsor each year, with the long-term goal of establishing a $1 million wrestling endowment fund by 2033. |
